How do I track my order?

Once your order is shipped from our warehouse you will receive an email notification with a tracking number. If you wish to view the status and tracking of your order, please see the delivery partner's website.

When will my items be shipped?

Within 1 business day you will receive a proof for approval or revision, Once you are happy with the design, submit your approval, we will move into the production phase.

Allow 1-3 business days for us to print, assemble and dispatch your custom name tags. We assure you it's worth the wait!

Is there a signature required upon delivery?

Yes, for your security and privacy, orders default to "signature on delivery" and are insured. To opt-out, leave a note at checkout.

We always aim to deliver on time but recommend considering these factors when placing an order.

Do you provide tracking information for my order?

Yes, upon shipment from our warehouse, an email notification containing a tracking number will be sent to you. To view the status and tracking of your order, please visit the delivery partner's website.

Australia Post Tracking

Can I expedite my shipping?

Absolutely, Express Post is an option. For Metro areas, it's 1-2 days and for Regional areas, it's 2-4 days. This excludes weekends and peak periods. For more details on shipping, please refer to our Shipping & Delivery page.

Do you deliver on weekends?

We utilise Australia Post for our shipments. In certain locations, Australia Post delivers on weekends. To determine if your location has Weekend delivery, consult your local post office or use Australia Post's Parcel Collect for convenient 24/7 parcel retrieval.

What happens if I'm not home during delivery?

All our shipments are sent as "signature on delivery" with insurance for your peace of mind. If you prefer your order to be left in a safe place, subject to Australia Post policy, please leave a note at checkout.

Can I change my delivery address after placing an order?

If you've made an error with your address, please contact us immediately. As long as your order hasn't been approved or shipped, we can adjust the address in our system. Reach out to us via email promptly.

How are shipping costs calculated?

Shipping costs are determined by location, dimensional weight, and actual weight. To get an estimate, use the shipping estimate tool on the Shopping Cart page; final costs will be displayed at checkout.

What if my order is delayed or late?

We apologise for any inconvenience caused by delays. Firstly, please check your order's status using the tracking link in your despatch email or Australia Post Tracking Tool, If you still have concerns, don't hesitate to contact our customer service team. We're committed to ensuring you receive your order as soon as possible.

Are all items in my order shipped together?

We strive to ship all items together, but there can be exceptions. Reasons for split shipments might include bulk orders, items shipping from different locations, special packaging needs, weight considerations, regulatory restrictions, promotional or pre-ordered items, inventory errors, or to expedite delivery. If items from your order are sent in separate consignments, we'll inform you.

How do I know my order has been dispatched?

You'll get an email or SMS with tracking details once your order is processed. This means it's labelled and ready for collection. Our Australia Post pickup is typically at 4:30pm on weekdays.

Can I request delivery on a specific date or time?

We can't promise specific delivery times, but we can add a note for the postie. Alternatively, opt for an Australia Post parcel locker for 24/7 collection.

How thick are your custom name tags?

Our Custom Name Tags with Premium Resin Finish are ~ 2.5mm thick — about the thickness of a house key.

Uncoated custom name tags are ~ 1.3mm thick.

What is the difference between the two badge finishes?

Is there a minimum order quantity for Name Tags?

No. You can order any quantity, from just one badge to as many as you require. We offer free design and have no setup fees.

Can I reorder a previous design?


We keep past designs for a minimum of 3 years.

To reorder, provide us with the order number from your original confirmation email. If you can't find it, don't worry! Access all past orders via the 'accounts' link in the top menu. With your order number, we can locate your design and make any required changes.

Can I cancel my order?

We completely get it, we change our minds too!

Orders can be cancelled or edited using the link provided in your order confirmation email, this can only be done before the design is approved for despatch. Once your order has been moved to production we are not able to cancel.

How do I reorder if I don't have an account?

You don't need a traditional account to reorder. An account is automatically set up for you when you place an order.

Instead of using a username and password, our system uses an email code for access. Simply click on the account icon at the top of the page and input the email address you used for your previous order. We'll send a one-time code to that email, allowing you to access your account.

Where is my order?

After shipping, you'll receive a tracking number via email. Monitor its status for updates. For multiple order tracking, log into your account. Remember, back-ordered items may delay your entire shipment as we usually ship complete orders.

For international or interstate items, tracking might take a few days to update. If the delivery date has passed, wait 1-3 more days for updates. If it's over 3 days late, contact the carrier or our Customer Team for assistance. Contact Us

In-Store & Collection

Can I collect my order in-store?

Yes, collection is available and it's a free option. Just choose "local pickup" during checkout. We'll notify you once your order is ready for collection.

How will i know when is my order ready to collect?

You'll receive a notification from Badge Lab when your order is ready for collection. Typically within 1-2 business days after your design is approved.

What hours is Badge Lab open for pickups?

Pickup at Badge Lab is 9am-4:30pm, Mon-Fri. As our store operates mainly by appointment, kindly inform us when you're coming.

How long does Badge Lab hold in-store orders?

Badge Lab doesn't limit hold duration, but we'll check in after 7-10 days if uncollected. If collecting is difficult, let us know. We can continue to hold at no cost or offer delivery for a small fee.

Does Badge Lab offer contactless pickups?

Yes! Badge Lab provides a contactless collection option. Reply to your "ready to collect" email and let us know you would like contactless pickup.

Can another person collect my Badge Lab order?

Absolutely. Just reply to your "ready for collection" email let us know their name and ensure they have the order number when collecting.

Is your packaging eco-friendly?

Absolutely! We use 100% recyclable materials, including recycled Jiffy Bags, compostable satchels, recycled cardboard, and paper tape. Whenever possible, we also reuse cartons.

Is Badge Lab's packaging sustainably sourced?

Absolutely! Badge Lab's packaging is sustainably sourced, prioritising eco-friendly materials.

Can I return Badge Lab packaging for reuse?

While we appreciate the thought, it's best to recycle our packaging via your local curbside recycling. It's efficient and eco-friendly!

Do you ship overseas?

Yes, we ship all over the world. Shipping costs will apply, and will be added at checkout.

Samples & Proofs

Can I see samples before I buy?

Yes, we have Badge Sample Packs to showcase our badge quality.

Additionally, we provide free online proofs for all orders so that you can see how we intend to print and cut your badges before we make them. You can request changes to your proof and we will make them until they look correct. Although we ask for a credit card upfront, we do not charge it until all proofs for an order are approved.

Can I see a proof before ordering?

Absolutely! After placing your order, you'll receive an online proof within one business day.

We won't process your payment until you approve the design. If needed, we'll make adjustments to the proof at no extra cost, and you can cancel your order pre-approval without any charges.

Will you update my price if my size changes during proofing?

Yes, during the proofing stage at Badge Lab, we ensure accuracy in the sizes. If you're uncertain about the exact measurements when ordering, just provide an estimate. We'll then adjust the size during proofing to match your badge's true dimensions and update the price accordingly.

For instance, if you initially request a 76 mm x 23 mm badge but the final design measures 56 mm x 15 mm, we'll automatically amend the price to reflect the smaller size. This approach ensures you're charged accurately for what you receive.

Are any coupon codes currently available?

We don't use coupon or promotional codes on, as we strive to offer fair prices for every order size.

What's Badge Lab's return policy?

At Badge Lab, if a product falls short of your expectations within 30 days of purchase, we're on hand to repair, replace, or refund it. However, please note that customised items cannot be returned due to a change of mind.

Can I swap for another item?

Absolutely! You can apply the original purchase price to any in-stock Badge Lab item. However, please note customised items aren't eligible for exchanges due to change of mind.

I've changed my mind about a custom order. Can I return it?

Custom, special orders, and "Open Box" items can't be returned unless defective under the Badge Lab Warranty.

Refunds don't include taxes, duties, or shipping. Returns not in original condition or with missing items may incur restocking fees.

Can I return sale or discounted items?

Sale, discounted or run-out stock items cannot be returned.

I lost my receipt. Can I still process a return or exchange?

Yes, for online orders, your details are stored. Access your account at the top of the page for order info. Then, contact our customer team at to proceed.

How do I package my return to ensure it reaches you safely?

Please return products in their original, like-new condition, including all packaging and components. Make sure to include the RMA number both on the outside and inside of the package. For added security, package the item carefully and use a tracking service when sending.
